Set Goals to Achieve

Without personal goals you are a ship without a rudder.  Goals get you focused and make you strive towards something.  All champions started as beginners and throughout their years they set goals.  This was part of their success.  First set your goal, visualize its success, and create a plan to make it happen.

Consistency is the key to keeping and completing a goal.  During a long term goal you may fail, but you will learn from failing.  The problem with experience is you don’t have it when you need it.  You actually have to experience something to have the knowledge on what to do, or what not to do.

Ask a successful businessman or woman how many times they failed before they succeeded. You will learn that most have failed many times over.

If your goal is to gain or lose weight,  make up a calendar to record your progress. Select a target date to meet your goal. Weigh yourself everyday.  Stick with it. Track your progress toward your goal date. It will engage your brain and remind you that have made a commitment to succeed. You can also track your workouts on your calendar. Writing out your goals will help you be consistent, keep your focus, and track your progress.

Pick a goal that is obtainable and start off slow.  Then be consistent. Work towards it daily.

Set goals, know what you are working towards, and get going.
