On January 27th @thefitexpo in Los Angeles, 5 incredible inductees were honored with the Golden Dumbbell Award and inducted in the Dumbbell Club Hall of Fame.
The 1st inductee won the 2017 and 2018 Classic Physique Mr Olympia, Breon Ansley @breonma_. He was surprised when his father Miles inducted him. It was a beautiful moment on stage between father and son during this special ceremony.
The 2nd inductee Candice-Lewis-Carter @icandyfitbeauty is a 4x Champion of the Arnold Classic and has more IFBB figure wins than any other figure competitor, with 13. Her great friend and actress AJ Johnson gave her an incredible induction speech that bought Candice to tears.
The 3rd inductee Rich Gaspari @richgaspari was the 1st Arnold Classic Champion, 3x runner up of Mr Olympia and now has his own brand of supplements. He was inducted by 13x Olympia Finalist and IFBB Hall of Famer, Shawn Ray. Shawn is a Bodybuilding historian and knew more about Rich than Rich knew about himself. Very moving……
The 4th Inductee is the #1 Fitness Photographer in the World “King of Covers” Jason Ellis @jasonellisphoto. Founder of Aging Evolution, Phillip Dodson gave Jason an introduction deserving of being in the Hall of Fame.
The 5th inductee was the 14th man to ever win the Mr Olympia. He won the 2018 Mr Olympia and is an incredibly humble Champion, Shawn Rhoden @flexatronrhoden. Shawn was inducted by the 2016 Classic Physique Mr Olympia Champion, Danny Hester. Danny mentioned, “that it’s important for Bodybuilders to support Bodybuilders in a selfish sport and Shawn is always there saying a kind word, even in defeat”.
