ATHLETES ARE DEVELOPED NOT BORN

Let’s face it genetics are a huge help when competing in a sport. You could blessed with many different traits but taking advantage of those are another thing.

Developing an athlete takes years of training, dedication, sacrifice and time. Usually a mentor like a Father, Mother or Coach steer you in a direction they are accustomed too.  Learning from their experience is a shorter way to a quicker result.

A perfect example of an athlete not being born great but developed is Wayne Gretzky, the Great One of NHL Hockey.  He didn’t become one of the best Hockey players of all time by being born great. He worked at it diligently and developed into a phenomenal NHL Hockey player.  Also, just because he was great doesn’t mean his children would have the same talent. Especially, if they all grew up in California and not Canada where Hockey was their #1 favorite pass time.

Dumbbell Club knows your environment, friends and your passion have a lot to do with an athletes development, too.

In Bodybuilding, Crossfit or Powerlifting you can do practically anything within your stature.  But, you will only be good to great by developing your athletic skills.
